THE CAUSE - BRAINSTEM & NECK
The very first vertebra (neck bone) is called Atlas.
Atlas is a very important structure in regards to the blood vessels and the proximity to the brainstem and the spinal cord. Even a slightest misalignment (such as 1mm) may disrupt or hinder the function of the vertebral arteries/internal jugular veins, and cerebrospinal fluid at that level.

This is why we, the Headache and Neck Clinic focus on the alignment of the atlas (C1) and down to C5.

Vertebral artery
Vertebral artery is the main blood supply to the brainstem. Any involvement of the C1 displacement or change in the anatomy of the C1 will disrupt or hinder the proper blood supply to the brainstem, resulting lots of nerve related symptoms in particular, Migraine headache.
