The upper cervical (top two bones in your neck) has a very close relationship with the brainstem.

2. ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS: TREATMENTS BASED ON 3D XRAY IMAGING SCANS
Your brainstem is one of the most intricate part of your body.
Hence it is critical to study the individual's anatomy prior to the treatment or adjustment.
Even a slightest force into the wrong direction at the level of C1, C2 (top two bones of your neck) and the occiput, it could potentially create more problems than solving one.
At Headache & Neck Clinic we proud ourselves in providing the most effective treatment that follows after the specific & accurate diagnosis for our patients.
We do this by using the latest technique - The Come Beam Computed Tomography (3D x-ray system).
Radiology report from the neuroradiologist & the chiropractor will be provided to all our patients.
3. GENTLE APPROACH: NO CRACKING IS INVOLVED
It does not take much force for the adjustment. In the Headache and Neck Clinic, we aim to locate even a slightest misalignment as small as 1 mm. To adjust that small distance, very specific, light and fast type of force is required. Not the twisting, cracking or pulling type of force will be introduced. We use the computerized instrument to achieve the best outcome with the most effectiveness and the most safe form.
4. TAILORED PATIENT CARE: THOROUGH EDUCATION & EXPLANATION OF YOUR ISSUES
We believe that good communication between our patients is vital to optimize the outcome. A thorough explanation & education on your issues will be provided. This usually takes place during your visits in which best practice treatment plan strategies are devised.
COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR GP
As part of our commitment to best practice, if necessary we will ensure that your GP and other treating doctors are kept up to date with your evaluation and treatment.
Your GP will typically play an important role in the ongoing management of your conditions. Similarly, if you already have any other involved health practitioners, they too will be included in our circle of communication and therapy.
DAY 1: INITIAL CONSULTATION. (APPROX 1 HOUR)
Initial consultation is all about gathering information.
Detailed history taking.
Physical and Neurological Examinations
Please mention if you have imaging studies such as CT, MRI of the neck or the brain.
At the end of the initial consultation, you will be told if you need a CBCT scan.
After the CBCT scan, we will contact you when the report is completed.
DAY 2: REPORT OF FINDINGS &
ADJUSTMENT BASED ON THE FINDINGS
(APPROX 1 HOUR)
You will be given reports & thorough explanation on the 3D image findings will be provided.
In many cases adjustment will be provided based on the 3D image findings.
DAY 3: FOLLOW UP VISITS
(APPROX 30 MIN)
Progress check up + Adjustments. Headache cases usually respond positively within 6~8 visits. Other neurological symptoms may persist longer than the headache.
